Their work on colorectal adenocarcinoma prognostication and phosphopeptide enrichment has the potential to improve cancer diagnosis and treatment. Researchers have developed novel magnetic composites for efficient phosphopeptide enrichment, utilizing materials such as polydopamine-polyethyleneimine and metal-organic frameworks. Additionally, studies on mesenchymal stem cells-derived extracellular vesicles and oyster peptides have explored their therapeutic applications in skin wound healing and immunomodulation. The discovery of novel angiotensin-I-converting enzyme inhibitory peptides and the development of a CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome integration tool also highlight Zheng's research expertise, demonstrating the potential for innovative solutions in fields such as gene editing and protein design.
