Loredana Zollo
Università Campus Bio-Medico
Loredana Zollo has made significant contributions to the fields of neurorobotics, rehabilitation engineering, and prosthetic development. Research contributions include advancements in slippage classification for prosthetic hands, marker-based approaches for determining finger joint centers of rotation, and AI-based methodologies for exoskeleton-assisted lower limb rehabilitation. Zollo also developed bodyslam, a generalized monocular visual slam framework for surgical applications, and proposed strategies for adaptive human-machine interaction. Additionally, the researcher has explored interdisciplinary nursing-engineering projects, analyzed task-specific hand kinematics and synergies, and investigated wearable devices for restoring sensory feedback in individuals with amputations or neural interfaces.
