Krishnendu Buxi has made significant contributions to materials science through their research on copper-aluminum (Cu-Al) alloys. The synthesis and characterization of Cu2Ti4 have provided insights into its crystal structure and chemical bonding, shedding light on the properties of this compound. Additionally, studies on the γ-brass type phase Ag9In4 have elucidated the roles of partial vacancies and structural distortions in stabilizing nonstoichiometric phases Ni7-δInSe2-x. The work also delves into the crystal structure, electronic structure, and magnetic properties of Ni3Insb, while investigating the "coloring" scheme of γ-brass type phase Ag5Cd8. These findings have implications for understanding the behavior of alloys in various technological applications.
