Researcher Chun Pan has made significant contributions to various fields of study, including nephrology, respiratory medicine, and silkworm biology. Recent studies have reanalyzed clinical trial data on renal-replacement therapy in acute kidney injury, explored the anti-inflammatory effects of Sarsaparilla polysaccharides against acute respiratory distress syndrome, and characterized pectin fragments from Arctium lappa L. with potential intestinal regulation activity. Additionally, research on proteoglycans from Sarcandra glabra has revealed its chemical and rheological properties, while studies on Lycium barbarum L. have investigated the structure and immunomodulatory activity of its polysaccharides. Furthermore, work on silkworm cells has uncovered novel pro-apoptotic caspases and explored the effects of hydroxycamptothecin and adrenomedullin on cellular pathways. These findings highlight the importance of Chun Pan's research in advancing our understanding of complex biological systems and identifying potential therapeutic targets for various diseases, including those affecting human health.
