Leiding Ding

Guizhou University

Leiding Ding's research contributes significantly to our understanding of climate changes and their impact on precipitation patterns. By analyzing the simulation of runoff in the upper Tarim River Basin of southern Xinjiang, China, from 1961-2010, Ding highlights the importance of accurate precipitation modeling for regional hydrology. Additionally, comparing "top-down" and "bottom-up" based GPM IMERG and SM2RAIN-ASCAT products over the Tibetan Plateau reveals respective advantages for precipitation estimation. Furthermore, research on calibrating FY4A QPE using CMPA in Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau and quantitative characteristics of multi-source precipitation products over Zhejiang Province sheds light on regional precipitation patterns.
