Qiuyu Bao's research has significantly advanced our understanding of subcellular proteomics and its applications in cancer biology. By developing innovative methods such as subcellular proteomic mapping of lysine lactylation and chemoproteomic mapping of the glycolytic targetome, Bao's work has provided new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying various diseases. Their research also highlights the potential of Taohong Siwu Decoction in treating breast cancer and experimental middle cerebral artery occlusion through its active components and metabolites. Furthermore, integrative omics analysis reveals that metabolic intervention combined with metronomic chemotherapy selectively kills cancer cells, offering promising therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.
