Rooha Khurram

Beijing University of Technology

Rooha Khurram's research contributions span multiple fields, including materials science, biomedicine, and membrane technology. Recent studies have focused on developing photocatalytic membranes for efficient removal of pollutants, such as MO, Congo Red, and Methylene Blue. α-Fe2O3-decorated g-C3N4 heterostructures and Fe2O3/ZnTe nanocomposites have shown promise in enhancing photocatalytic degradation rates. Additionally, work on multi-organ cancer diagnosis via deep learning-based methods has addressed state-of-the-art challenges. Membrane fouling prevention through the use of anti-fouling character and self-cleaning properties is also being explored. The development of ultrafiltration membranes with narrow pore size distributions and novel etching techniques for membrane matrix modification have significant implications for water treatment and purification applications.
