Tara Pritchard
Malaghan Institute of Medical Research
Tara Pritchard's research has significantly contributed to our understanding and treatment of various cancers, including breast cancer and leukemia. Their work on glycolipid-peptide conjugate vaccines showed promise in eliciting effective CD8+ T-cell responses and preventing metastasis. Additionally, studies on raloxifene nano-micelles revealed their potential in targeting estrogen receptor-β and epidermal growth factor receptor to combat triple-negative breast cancer. Pritchard also investigated the effects of obi-3424, a novel prodrug, against preclinical models of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL), and found that it exhibited potent efficacy.
