Yuki Yabuuchi's research has significantly contributed to the understanding of various respiratory and gastrointestinal conditions. In the realm of pulmonology, studies on pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia, pleuroparenchymal fibroelastosis, and Marfan syndrome have expanded the clinical spectrum of these diseases. Additionally, work on borderline pulmonary hypertension has shed light on its association with exercise intolerance and acute exacerbation in patients with interstitial lung disease. In gastroenterology, research on rumen fermentation and dairy cow nutrition has revealed the effects of lauric acid on physical, chemical, and microbial characteristics.
